By: Rachelyn Pabines Mass Communication graduate from University of the Philippines (UP) Cebu was captured and detained at Negros Oriental jail after the military charged her of illegal possession of firearms and explosive along with five others. Myles Albisan, 21 years old, together with the other five were brought immediately to the Hall of Justice in the capital of Dumaguete in Negros Oriental to undergo inquest proceedings on the complaint that filed against them by the military . In a radio interview, Albisan admitted that she and her companions are in the village of Luyang, Mabinay town, Negros Oriental just to discuss poverty with farmers there. She denied that the firearms confiscated does not belong to them but to the ‘organization’ she didn’t detailed.
