Life Beyond Earth

Life Beyond Earth
by: Mary Mica Derutas

Every time we gazed at the vast constellations, we have wondered whether if there’s a life up there, and as we developed science, we began theorizing that the stars also held creatures. Looking for beacons from intelligent life forms in deep space, for life outside the Earth and if there is an intelligent civilization living in our galaxy.

It is one of ancient alien mysteries that in ancient Egypt extraterrestrial creatures influenced human population, that ancient aliens were directly involved in the evolution of primates, including human and they were visited by an advanced race of aliens that help them build great monuments such as Ancient Egyptian Pyramids of Giza, according to theories an alien assistant with advanced technologies helped to construct them. Another one is the Stonehenge, it was a huge circle of stones weighing as much as 50 tons, it was said to be a model of solar system that also functioned as alien landing pad.

The idea that there are other inhabited worlds in the universe besides our own is an old one, with the current age of the universe and its vast number of stars, if the Earth was typical, extraterrestrial life should be common. And by that, should we really prepare ourselves for their return?

A recent post from a Facebook page gained attention, the post is about the coming of aliens on February 28, 2018. According to the post, you have to be outside of your house at exactly 12 midnight for it will be a swift abduction. The post got a lot of reactions from the netizens.

We all have been fascinated by the thought of alien abduction, unidentified flying objects (UFOs) as alien spacecraft and ancient alien artifacts as evidence that aliens visited the earth million years ago. But Scientists have never found a proof that either of these have ever occured and do not take alien UFOs seriously, humans usually love to fancy such things.

  1. The story was literally buried. The headline says nothing about the 'coming of aliens' and it took 3 bulky paragraphs before it was even mentioned in the article.

The story was good. It only needs to be told in a better way.
